Role: Social & Digital Media Specialist  

Location: Remote (Vancouver or Toronto Based)

Employment Type: Part-time contract, 20-25 hours per week

Compensation: $30 per hour

Job Overview:

As our Social & Digital Media Specialist, you'll be at the heart of bringing Good Juju to life online — and we'd love for you to genuinely geek out over what that means. We're looking for someone who has a real passion for crafting content that feels premium, intentional, and beautifully on-brand. In this role, you'll manage and grow our social media presence, create stunning and effective digital ad assets, develop engaging organic content, and coordinate micro-influencer outreach — all while making sure every touchpoint reflects our mission and values. This is a part-time position offering flexibility at 20 to 25 hours per week, and you'll work closely with our Co-Founder each week to shape and refine both ad and social concepts together. Key Responsibilities: 

      Develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand identity and marketing goals

      Create high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content for our social media platforms, including organic content and content for Meta ads

      Manage the social media content calendar and schedule posts to ensure consistent and timely updates

      Engage with our online community, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries, fostering a positive and interactive online presence

      Identify and collaborate with micro-influencers and content creators to amplify our brand's reach and visibility

      Monitor social media analytics and track key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of our social media efforts

      Stay up-to-date with social media trends, industry best practices, and emerging platforms

 

Qualifications: 

      Experience as a Social Media Specialist, Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role in managing social media platforms for a brand

      Experience in creating Meta Ads

      Content creation skills including: Graphic design and video editing

      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a creative flair for content creation.

      Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines consistently.

      Experience with micro influencer outreach an asset

      A team player with a positive attitude, eager to contribute to the growth of a small startup.
